This intensive 5-day course is designed to prepare candidates to sit the examination for the Diploma in Immediate Medical Care of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Its emphasis is on exam technique and assisting participants to focus their revision. There will also be opportunities to review underpinning knowledge & to rehearse practical skills.
Students will undertake a ‘mock’ exam for each of the assessment components, including projected slides; short-answer questions; written triage; core skills; vivas; MCQs, and scenarios. Detailed individual feedback will be provided and students will be coached through the development of model answers.
Target audience: Doctors, Nurses, Registered Paramedics, and Combat Medical Technicians
